The eDOCSNL program governance collaboratively determines the strategic plan for the EMR (Electronic Medical Record) program. Our strategic plan is focused on establishing the value of the EMR for health care providers while fulfilling the needs of the Provincial Health Care system. The current strategic plan is in effect until the end of 2022 and moves the program from prioritizing deployment to increasing the value of eDOCSNL to providers including a focus on mature use, expanding our user base, reinforcing our foundations and advancing the use of EMR data for practice management, secondary use and health care collaboration.
